Dale Guthrie (nee van der Veen), founder of Holism Health, is an occupational therapist and registered yoga teacher (RYT 500), with a special interest in the field of neurology/ neurosciences. She is passionate about helping people living with disability post neurological injury (spinal cord injury, stroke, head injury etc.) reintegrate back into the community and lead as normal lives as possible despite their physical limitations. Dale worked in acute rehabilitation for four years before deciding to shift her attention to people living within their community. She realised a need to offer out-patient health services that are holistic and integrative in nature, providing persons with disability a place to engage in recreational activities - such as yoga to reap physical, emotional and social benefits.
Dale is available for occupational therapy as well as adaptive yoga assessment and intervention of persons with neurological injury at the Blairgowrie practice. To enquire about booking a private session with Dale, click here.
